This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Civyx uses them, and how you can manage your preferences. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet or mobile phone) when you visit a website or application. It is stored in your browser and allows the site to remember certain information about you, such as your preferences or login state.
Civyx also uses technologies similar to cookies, in particular browser local storage (localStorage) to remember your cookie consent choice and certain interface preferences.
2. Categories of Cookies Used
2.1 Essential Cookies (mandatory — no consent required)
These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled without impairing the service. No consent is required for their placement.

| Session cookie | Maintaining the user's authenticated session | Session |
| CSRF token | Protection against Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks | Session |
| Authentication state | Remembering the login state when navigating between pages | Session |
| civyx_consent (localStorage) | Storing your cookie choice so it is not requested on every visit | 12 months |
2.2 Functional / Preference Cookies (consent required)
These cookies allow the platform to remember your preferences and enhance your experience. They are only placed with your prior consent.
| Name / Type | Purpose | Duration |

| Interface preferences | Display settings and navigation preferences chosen by the user | 12 months |
2.3 Analytics Cookies (consent required)
These cookies allow us to measure platform traffic and analyse browsing behaviour in an aggregated, anonymised manner, in order to improve our services. Data from these cookies is not used for individual identification.
| Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymised usage statistics (hosted on Azure) | Analysis of pages visited, time spent, error rates — aggregated data only | Up to 13 months |
2.4 Advertising or Third-Party Tracking Cookies
Civyx does not use any advertising or third-party tracking cookies. No browsing data is shared with advertising networks.
3. Third-Party Services
The platform may use the following services, which may place their own cookies or tokens:
- Microsoft Azure — hosting and authentication infrastructure. Azure B2C cookies are technical in nature and related to authentication management.
- Microsoft Application Insights (if enabled) — telemetry and performance monitoring, subject to Azure privacy settings.
These services operate under their own privacy policies. We invite you to consult Microsoft's privacy policy.
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
4.1 Via the Civyx Consent Banner
On your first visit to the public platform, a consent banner is displayed allowing you to choose between "Essential only" or "Accept all". You can change your choice at any time.
To reset your preferences, clear the civyx_consent key from your browser's localStorage (Developer Tools → Application → Local Storage), then reload the page.
4.2 Via Your Browser Settings
You can configure your browser to block or delete some or all cookies. Instructions for the major browsers:
Please note that disabling essential cookies may impair the functioning of the platform or prevent login.
5. No Advertising Cookies
Civyx is committed to not using cookies or trackers for advertising targeting, commercial profiling or sharing behavioural data with third-party advertising networks. This policy reflects our commitment to privacy by design.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page. In the event of material changes affecting consent-based cookies, your consent will be requested again.
